IMPORTANT

Your online booking request will result in a contract being sent to the email address you provided.

The reservation will be definitively validated upon receipt of the signed contract and a 50% deposit by bank transfer or check.

The balance must be paid 30 days before the arrival date (you will receive a reminder), failing which the reservation will be considered cancelled by the tenant and the cottage may be re-let by the owner without the deposit being refunded.

Payment of the tourist tax will be made on site before departure (€1.05/night/adult)

Signing the contract constitutes acceptance of the general conditions of sale below.



GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE

Payment methods

Payments must be made by bank transfer or check in euros drawn on a French bank.

Exceptionally, particularly in the case of last-minute bookings, payment in cash on arrival may be accepted. However, even without payment in advance, signing the contract commits you to respecting your arrival and the payment of the stay.


Use of rented premises

The rented premises are intended for family use. Subletting is prohibited. The Tenant agrees to respect the rented premises (including the exteriors) and to return them in the same condition. The use of the premises is a matter of common sense. In summary, make yourself at home and do not do what you would not do at home. The Tenant agrees to ensure that the peace and quiet of the neighborhood is not disturbed by his actions or those of his companions. Any minor must remain under the constant supervision of an adult.

Ability

This contract is established for a maximum capacity of people (including babies) whether during the day, in the evening or in accommodation. If the number of tenants exceeds the capacity, or exceeds the number agreed in the contract, the owner may refuse the additional people or will be entitled to increase the amount of the rent. In addition, it is not permitted to receive people other than those mentioned in the contract unless prior agreement is obtained from the owner.

Length of stay

The tenant signing this contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain on the premises at the end of the stay.

In the event of unauthorized exceeding of the rental period, an amount of €20 will be charged to the Tenant for each additional hour of occupation of the rented premises.

If you have to leave the premises before the scheduled date, this early departure will not give rise to any reimbursement.

Regulations, instructions

- Check-in is scheduled from 4 p.m.

- Departure from the cottage , tidy and cleaned (see checklist depending on option chosen), takes place no later than 10 a.m.

- The lodgings are NON-SMOKING, ashtrays are available outside the lodgings.

- Many animals in (semi) freedom are present at the Estate (ornamental chickens, roosters, peacocks, cats, etc.). We cannot therefore accept your dogs/cats and other animals outside of cages. NO EXCEPTIONS ARE POSSIBLE ON THIS POINT. However, we can recommend a nearby boarding house if necessary.

- The tenant may not object to a visit to the premises when the owner or his representative so requests.

Inventory and status report

We have chosen to be trustworthy by not requiring a detailed inventory and condition report upon arrival and departure. We consider that all installations are in working order and any claim concerning them occurring more than 24 hours after taking possession of the premises will not be accepted. Repairs made necessary by negligence or poor maintenance during the rental period will be the responsibility of the tenant.

Security deposit

The Tenant will pay the Lessor:

- a security deposit of €2000 for the Grand Balazin gîte (+ reception room if chosen), €800 for Lou Pitchoun and Le petit Balazin.

The security deposit will be paid no later than the date of entry into the rented premises. The security deposit is intended to cover any repairs or restoration that may be necessary following the Tenant's departure: The price of cleaning, the total value at the replacement price of objects, furniture or equipment that are broken, cracked, chipped or damaged and those whose wear and tear exceeds normal for the duration of the rental, the price of cleaning covers that are left dirty, compensation for damage of any kind to curtains, wallpaper, walls, woodwork, ceilings, carpets, rugs, windows, bedding, etc.

The security deposit will either be returned by post or destroyed with supporting photo within 8 days of departure if no damage is noted during the exit inventory or cleaning after your departure.

Therefore, NO SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE RETURNED ON THE DAY OF DEPARTURE.

Otherwise, the balance of the security deposit will be returned to the Tenant, less the cost of restoration, within a maximum of 2 months after the departure date. The amount of the restoration will be determined amicably between the Landlord and the Tenant. In the event of disagreement, a repair estimate will be drawn up by a professional or other authorised body chosen by the Lessor and independent of the latter. The Tenant undertakes to pay the surplus if the repair costs were higher than the security deposit.

Please note: the cleaning will be considered as fully done or not at all, there will be no discount on the rate. A checklist is displayed to facilitate the organization of the cleaning.

Household Linen:

You can provide your own sheets according to the list provided or request the provision of these according to the conditions indicated in the contract. In this case, please specify this at least the day before your arrival. The same applies to bathroom linen.

Kitchen towels and bathroom floor mats are provided as standard.

Any damage or loss will be assessed and removed from the deposit. Parking:

Private parking in the Domaine courtyard is included in the price.

Use of the swimming pool:

The swimming pool is open from May to October approximately. The opening period may be reassessed depending on the weather. No compensation may be claimed in the event of inability to use the swimming pool. The swimming pool is fenced for optimum safety. Everyone agrees to check that the gate closes properly after passing through. It is forbidden to climb the walls and fences.

The swimming pool is for shared use between the tenants of the 3 gîtes and the owners. Everyone agrees to use it with respect for the other occupants and to use the security systems correctly. The use of the swimming pool is for family use and must be done in good understanding.

We strive to control water quality.

Pool users are fully aware that this is done under their own responsibility and that the owners cannot be held responsible for any incident.

Supervision of children is essential and the systematic presence of a responsible adult is mandatory.

Proper swimming attire is required (naturism prohibited and special swimming diapers are compulsory for babies).

Alcohol abuse before swimming is clearly not recommended. Failure to comply with safety instructions and inappropriate behavior will result in a ban on access to the pool for the remainder of the stay, without compensation.

Use of the SPA (Petit Balazin and Lou Pitchoun)

A jacuzzi-type SPA is available at the Petit Balazin and Lou Pitchoun gîtes.

Non-use will not in any way give rise to a claim for reimbursement. Each user agrees to respect the instructions for use given on site. We advise you to bring bathrobes and flip-flops for greater comfort of use. In the event of inability to use beyond our control, no compensation may be claimed by the tenant.

WIFI

WiFi internet access can be offered free of charge to tenants in the Le Grand Balazin and Le Petit Balazin gîtes, subject to the connection limits available in our countryside area.

For the Lou Pitchoun gîte, there is NO WIFI available unless our network improves...

The owner cannot be held liable in the event of incompatibility or malfunction related to the equipment used by the tenant, disruptions or interruptions, force majeure within the meaning of the case law of the French Court of Cassation. The tenant undertakes not to transmit on the internet during his stay any data that is prohibited, illicit, illegal, contrary to good morals or public order and that infringes or is likely to infringe the rights of third parties and in particular intellectual, literary or artistic property rights. In the event of fraudulent use of the internet (downloads, etc.), the tenant acknowledges being aware that his contact details will be handed over to the police.

Withdrawal / Cancellation

It is agreed that in the event of withdrawal:

- of the tenant:

a) cancellation before arrival at the premises: Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter to the owner. The amounts already paid (deposit if the cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival or total if it occurs less than 30 days before arrival) remain acquired by the owners but may be offered in the form of a credit for another stay. If the tenant does not come forward within 24 hours of the arrival date indicated on the contract, this contract becomes null and void and the owner can dispose of his gîte. The deposit remains acquired by the owner who will also request, if it has not been paid, the balance of the rental.

b) if the stay is shortened, the rental price remains acquired by the owner. No refund will be made.

- from the owner:

Any cancellation of the contract by the Lessor before the entry date must be notified to the Tenant by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. The Lessor undertakes to reimburse the sums paid as a deposit or balance.

PLEASE NOTE: Exceptionally, particularly in the case of last-minute bookings, payment in cash on arrival may be accepted. However, even without payment in advance, signing the contract commits you to respecting the cancellation rules mentioned above and, consequently, to paying for the stay as appropriate.

cancellation insurance

In order to protect yourself against any other possible unforeseen events, we advise you to take out cancellation insurance such as ADAR for example (https://www.albinet.fr/fr/adar-assurance-annulation-sejour) Insurance The lessee undertakes to insure against rental risks (fire, water damage). Failure to insure, in the event of a claim, will give rise to damages. The lessor undertakes to insure the accommodation against rental risks on behalf of the tenant, the latter having the obligation to notify him, within 24 hours, of any damage occurring in the accommodation, its outbuildings or accessories.

Services

Water and electricity consumption is included in the rental EXCEPT FOR ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING. We count on you to use it responsibly and we reserve the right to charge a supplement if we notice a use that we consider unreasonable. Each electric car recharge will be done only with the owner's agreement and charged €25.

Baby equipment is available free of charge on request (bed, chair, potty, stroller, baby carrier, etc.)
